Thermoelectric Modules (TEMs)

TEMs are active heat pumps (solid state Peltier devices without moving parts, fluids or gasses) that transfer heat from one side of the device to the other. Designed to dissipate or add heat in applications with tight geometric space constraints, Laird Thermal Systems manufactures a complete range of TEMs with numerous heat pumping capacities, geometric shapes, and input power ranges.

Thermoelectric Assemblies (TEAs)

TEAs are a combination of TEMs and heat transfer mechanisms designed to absorb and dissipate heat. With the widest selection of TEAs on the market, Laird Thermal Systems feature optimized solutions in Air-to-Air (convection), Direct-to-Air and Liquid-to-Air (conduction) versions. TEAs are used to stabilize the temperature of sensitive electronic components or to cool devices, chambers, and enclosures below ambient. Laird Thermal Systems' TEAs are designed to reduce product development time, reduce cost and optimize product/system performance, which makes them ideal for medical, telecom, industrial and instrumentation applications.

Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS)

LCS are self-contained units that recirculate a coolant to a predefined temperature set point. Laird Thermal Systems manufactures two types of liquid cooling solutions: liquid heat exchanger systems that maintain the coolant in a liquid circuit to ambient temperature and compressor-based systems (recirculating chillers) that cool the coolant to well below ambient and dissipate heat to the outside environment.

Temperature Controllers

Laird Thermal Systems’ temperature controllers are specifically designed to control thermoelectric assemblies (TEAs) in a closed loop system. They offer accurate, precise thermal management, require less energy to maintain the desired temperature range, and lower the cost of ownership.
