Liquid Cooling Systems
Precise Thermal Management for Additive Manufacturing
Introduction
Additive manufacturing, better known as 3D printing, is an emerging application that is finding an expanding purpose in the manufacturing process. Once primarily used for quickly making prototype parts, 3D printing is now also used to digitize workflow and manufacture production quality final products. There are many different types of 3D printing methods used to physically create a desired object.
Additive Manufacturing
When 3D printing evolved in the 1990s it was only considered to be suitable for prototyping parts. With improved materials, precision and repeatability, the technology is now frequently used in manufacturing of final products and digitization of workflows. 3D printing machines utilize lasers to stack (print) layer after layer of melted plastic resin or metal to create a solid three-dimensional part. This laser, or electron beam generates a tremendous amount of heat that needs to be dissipated away from sensitive electronics to assure high quality 3D objects and long-life operation.
Refrigeration Systems for Reagent Storage
Introduction
Reagents are essential for laboratory and medical testing. Reagent materials are used to detect the presence or absence of a substance, or to test if a specific reaction occurs. Thermal control is vital to preserve reagent materials, which can degrade over time when stored at improper temperatures. When they are kept at room temperature, reagents may become contaminated by microbial growth, which affects test integrity. Reagents can also be negatively affected at low temperatures if they undergo multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Nextreme™ Compressor-Based Chillers User Manual (English)
The Nextreme™ Recirculating Chiller is a refrigeration-based chiller designed for precise and reliable temperature control of equipment. It can be used in several user applications such as medical, analytical instrumentation, industrial and semiconductor. This family of compressor-based chillers offer different configurable options for pumps selection, coolant flow control, supply pressure monitoring and filtering. This chiller also uses a semi-closed system for low coolant maintenance.
WL3004 User Manual (English)
The WL3004 is a re-circulating liquid to air heat exchanger that offers dependable, compact performance by removing large amounts of heat from a liquid circuit. The coolant is re-circulated using a high pressure pump to assure maximum flow rate. Heat from coolant is absorbed by a radiant heat exchanger and dissipated into the ambient environment using brand name fan. Manual adjustments can be made to control flow switch. Customized features are available, however, MOQ applies.
WL3000 End of Life
This product has reached the end of production and are available on a limited basis only. Please use the WL3004 recommended replacement for new designs.
Laser Projectors
Laser Projectors have the ability to project much longer distances, which make laser projectors well suitable for use in cinemas, stadiums and outdoor events. The lasers used in these projector systems can generate heat between 100W and 300W, requiring a thermal management solution to protect sensitive optical components. Both chillers and ambient cooling systems with a thermoelectric cooler can be used to provide temperature stability for laser projectors.
