2022年2月7日 – リアルタイムPCR検査に使われる熱サイクルデバイスは、熱電技術を利用し設定温度や上昇速度を正確に管理することでDNA部分を増幅できます。PCRデバイスの温度制御をもっと正確に行うため、レアードサーマルシステムズは、PowerCycling PCX熱電冷却器の長方形型シリーズを開発しました。独自のプロセスと独自設計のモジュール構造を使うことで、PCX長方形型シリーズはPCR検査向けに高い信頼性と小さな温度勾配が得られ、その結果スループットの向上と検査時間の短縮を達成しました。
PCR検査では熱サイクルを多数繰り返すことが必要で、医療診断用に数百万ものDNA鎖を作り出します。各熱サイクルは3段階からなり、まず第1段階では高温でDNA鎖を分離します。第2段階で50~65℃の溶融温度に冷却し、バイオマーカーをDNAに結合させます。第3段階では温度を72℃に上げてDNAのコピーを配列していきます。熱電冷却器をPCR槽の下に設置し、設定温度を±0.5℃内に正確に管理します。
